Here’s a professional rundown of … me; past, present and future.

I spent the better part of a decade anchoring Chicago’s Alternative Q101. Starting out as a summer intern, I worked my way up over a span of 8+ years, to promotions assistant and eventually landing prized gigs as morning show co-host and solo afternoon drive host.

At 22, I was a producer and on-air ensemble member of the nationally syndicated Mancow’s Morning Madhouse, serving as the show’s music and entertainment reporter. With the bigger stage came the brighter lights of many thrilling national media opportunities including television, film, print and public appearances.

I’ve logged over 300 interviews with bands, musicians, actors, legends, icons, athletes and newsmakers; all of which have helped construct an invaluable amount of life experience and important, enduring personal relationships.

I have traveled the world to cover music and pop-culture events; broadcasting live from multiple Grammy Awards Ceremonies, MTV VMA’s, red carpets of Hollywood movie premieres and overseas music festivals. I’ve done in-ring work with the WWE, on their many stops thru Chicago. And I’ve also had the great honor to introduce many of the world’s finest bands on stage at Chicago’s very own Lollapalooza in Grant Park to a sea of 50,000 sweaty heads.

Beyond the airwaves, I have worked to carve my craft into more than just an on-air voice. I set out to become an influential presence in Chicago’s live event culture by building a deeply personal brand, unique to myself.

A major example is each Wednesday night at Angels & Kings Chicago, where I book and host the “One Man(no) Show;” a free, weekly popular rock series showcasing Chicago’s most deserving and promising artists. Through years of passionate hard work and media exposure, the “Manno” name brand has become deeply associated with more than just a voice.

I am always in motion and am seeking the next dynamic chapter in my professional career. In the meantime, I will continue to find fresh ways to expand the cultural architecture of the greatest city in the world.

The only way is to live it.
